Shot the new rifle this afternoon. 1930's model Winchester 52. Unertl scope was mounted too low and interfered with the bolt handle so I dismounted it and we shot it with the irons. Had a couple 9/16 groups going at 50 yds. Hitting 2" steel at 100yds, 8" steel at 150, and the 3/4 man silhouettes I have at 200. Can't wait to get the proper blocks so I can rezero the scope.

I'm jealous of the rifle and your range!

I found out a couple weeks ago that my eyes are useless at 50 with irons. :(

    I need new glasses.
