I have sorghum or millet fruiting under one of my bird feeders.

There's a kind of a bare spot, maybe due to critters. I let something grow, just to see what it was. Figured it all came from the birdseed.

Stalks are just over knee-high now and the tops are covered. Looked like corn at first, but most of the corn has been coarsely milled or at least cracked quite a bit.

I see what we call maize in the deep south, but I have not tried to use my books to identify it yet.
Can't possibly make it through frost, but I'm letting it grow.
    :):
what is the number for your HOA, I feel a call is in order

No. About I didn’t measure. He did for estimating purposes. The wall ( vertical vinyl panels ) won’t be removed. There is ( I will guess ) 50’ - 75” out of line. Both ends at a seam. Everything house side will be excavated ( hardscape rocks, landscape cloth, landscape plants, soil, 4’ of pea gravel ) and need be removed - hopefully just relocate to a spot on my property. Hope fully not disturb sprinklers but ? Invisible Dog Fence wire will replace after. Top cap, runners, everything but panels removed. Move wall back as straight as possible. Reverse - new stringers, top cap ( going to do all 225’ ), then completely redo anchoring systems ( twice the anchors as original. Then pea gravel and top dirt layer. Then landscapers for hardscape, plants, mew edging, etc. Then lawn repair and reseeding. And ( maybe )sprinkler system and dog fence work.

    I’m taking donations
    That does sound expensive.

Making out my grocery lists for tomorrow. I want to see if Kroger has cornmeal mush. I think this last batch of cornbread put me in the mood for it. I bet I haven't had it in at least 20 years. Dad always liked it.
