None of my other .22s have threaded barrels either, and I'd hate to muck up my vintage rifles. The other .22 pistols are Ruger Wranglers. I do have the Taurus but it's not threaded, and I don't like the pistol anyhow.but the can will be compatible with many guns, not JUST the buckmark.
According to @klausm, you just have to buy newer ones WITH threaded barrelsNone of my other .22s have threaded barrels either, and I'd hate to muck up my vintage rifles. The other .22 pistols are Ruger Wranglers. I do have the Taurus but it's not threaded, and I don't like the pistol anyhow.
I don't think you can really suppress a revolver. Well, the old Nagant revolvers where the cylinder moves forward and "seals" against the barrel you could I guess. But otherwise you've got gasses escaping around the cylinder. It would be quieter but not as quiet as a semi-auto.I bet a wrangler would be kinda cool with a threaded barrel and a suppressor attached
ah, never thought about that. Would still be kinda neat though just because it would look ridiculousI don't think you can really suppress a revolver. I think I'm back to normal. I think I just needed to catch up on sleep or something.Evening DD
How are you feeling?
Mine is 100% like you describedI should probably get something like a 10/22 for cheap with a threaded barrel, but I really never cared for the 10/22. Had one that I got as a Black Friday deal at Dick's before they stopped selling guns but I shot it once and just couldn't warm up to it. I know they're good guns, but there's also a reason that people customize them beyond recognition too. By the time they're done, the receiver is about the only thing that is a 10/22.
"The 10/22 is a great rifle! Well, except for the barrel, the trigger, the stock..."
