Got my shower, shaved and now making out the grocery list. I guess I don't have a rain jacket. Thought I had a Frogg's Toggs jacket but I must've gotten rid of it. There's one in the closet, but it must be Susan's. Too small for me.
Be sure to look for some Mexican cacao for your chili batch. :):
Actually, I've only found it in one tiny Mexican mart here in Indiana. I think folks up here call that Cincinnati Chili, but chocolate and chilies together is way older than Mexico itself.

I have usually had to scrape by with Hershey's Dark Cocoa products for my chili madness. :(

They still grow lots of it, but very little makes its way north. I felt blessed when this in-town mart opened, offering a wide variety of seldom seen items from that culture where I grew up.

Closest I have to a raincoat is my ancient nylon Members Only (remember that mess?) water resistant jacket. I was made fun of for that very useful garment by the Millennials I used to work with.

I bought it ages ago on clearance because it was made from double layered parachute duck and, since the style had gone stale, it was cheap. I don't really do style.

No cacao. Just chili powder (lots), Emeril's Essence, garlic powder, liquid smoke and dehydrated jalapenos and habaneros for the seasoning. Stewed tomatoes, crushed tomatoes and hot salsa for the liquid, kidney beans and mushrooms, then ground beef with onions.
