I don't know if I'll grill out today or not. Susan had a rough night. Woke me up about 9:30 because her legs gave out on her in the kitchen. Even with the gait belt I couldn't get her to her feet, so I had to drag her into the living room and got her a foam pad, blanket and pillow. She got up and went to bed around 3.

Guess I'll get the passenger side mirror put on Susan's van after breakfast. I don't have to take my car out of the garage to replace the driver side turn signal. That'll probably be more involved than her mirror if youtube is to be believed. Neither are very complicated though.

I decided not to grind out the stump where the ash tree was.
The tree guy cut it down to about six inches high by about three feet wide.
Remaining is about a foot tall by 8ft wide hump of roots to rot.

My plan is to drill a few holes in the stump and add potassium nitrate and water it in well for about a month.
That gives me a month to remove and kill the surrounding turf.

Then in August, have a truck drop a big pile of compost on top of it, making a slight raised bed to plant in.
A ring of hostas and spring bulbs, still deciding on what goes inside the ring, but it will include some Russian sage and maybe a mugo pine.
