Just went to the Farmer's Market. On the way back my car auto-adjusted my dash displays to night time level.
Air is so thick, I probably left a wake.

Back home. I went ahead and walked ole Waylon at the pond. No rain but very moist nevertheless.

Did great at the Farmer's Market. Nice veggies and ripe strawberries. Strawberries I've seen in stores are all green.

Also found some rich looking collards to cook up with the brats from last night. Pan fried corn dodgers and ya gotcha sumpthin' hard to beat.

Brats I smoked up last night came from what used to be a good local farm stand.
They've changed!
Now they have a freezer section and lots of canned fruits and veggies, jams, pickles, salsas and candy also. All local-like, still.

I kept the label. If they don't keep those same brats in stock, I'm going to find this place in Cicero and try to buy them direct from the butcher.
Best brats I've had in many years!
