Try alcohol first, then the rubs.

Like the mosquitoes which never touch me, I seem to be completely immune to poison ivy. Never any trouble there.

Now nettles will screw me up! Curious.

Youngs did not inherit this trait.

Wife has trouble just being in the room with me unless I swab with alcohol and shower. I have to take care.
I handle of all that stuff myself.
I'm really leaning toward bug bite, since I haven't been in the areas of the yard where we have poison ivy. This cream is doing the trick though.

Well, we were getting ready to watch The Fisher King, but Susan's best friend called as we were coming back out to the deck, so I guess it will be a few before I can start it.

Our post lamp out front had died a while back. Needed to replace the e-eye.

Unknown to me until a few minutes ago, Wife ordered a solar replacement.

    SOLAR!!??! NO!!
It just came now and she wanted it done now.

"You do know that the post is hot with electricity and we will have to do something about that, right?"
    "Why? It's solar."

    GRrrrr!

OK, so I tied them so they can't fall down inside the post and capped the cables off with new wire nuts that fit single wire.
    Should be fine.
    Placed the solar lamp.
    We'll see.

Last thing I needed today was a fresh layer of sweat.

I hate solar lights. Never seen any that lasted even a year before failing.

"Hurricane Beryl produced more tornadoes in the U.S. than any other tropical system has in almost 19 years, from Texas to upstate New York.

The impressive tally: At least 57 tornadoes have been confirmed by the National Weather Service from Beryl and its remnant low from early July 8 through July 10. These tornadoes tore through parts of six states: Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, Indiana and New York.

Hurricane Rita spawned 97 tornadoes in late September 2005."
