We had mosquitoes pretty bad last night for some reason. I thought that was weird with how dry it is.

Do you guys have a body for that truck?

It came with two cabs, the hood and a bed. I ordered new inner and outer fenders and rockers, cab corners, etc. The bed only needed a couple of small repair panels. AutoMetal Direct has OEM gauge metal and ships pretty quick. They had 50% off freight over the holiday weekend so we ordered a bunch of big stuff and it is all getting shipped for $99. The last ordered was $300 for shipping. We ordered a new tailgate and door skins and such. He has the doors cleaned up and one is done. The other will be when we get the skin. He is working on the cab now....getting it all sanded down and repairing what little rust he has found. Cab corners, rockers are done. He is going to set it on the frame before he paints it. I think we need a windshield, but he has the glass he took out of the doors and the slider out of the back of the cab.

@mom45 The Jimmy still lives, just FYI. We sold it to a neighbor a few years back after the headgasket blew. He fixed it and we see his daughter driving it by every now and then. Solid vehicle. Wife says she still misses it

That is awesome! I loved that thing. My son still hasn't come back other than to visit and do a few projects. He is in Berlin now.

This was a couple days ago. He tarped the engine in case it rains. Exhaust is all on too. The tractor right behind the truck got all new seals on the loader this week too. I think that one is ready to go home. The other one is ours.
