SB1212 PASSED the Legislature yesterday! Now on to the lame duck Gov Falin (R)!
It's dead.
Oklahoma Governor Mary Falin vetoed the Constitutional Carry bill today. The legislature is out of session, so there's no possibility for them to override the veto.
She cited the same tired arguments we heard here in Indiana this year, especially from the brass in the state law enforcement community.

I hope that Indiana joins this list soon!!!!!Governor Kevin Stitt signed HB 2597 today, making Oklahoma the 16th Constitutional Carry state.
Oklahoma now joins the other 15 Constitutional Carry states: Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming — and most of Arkansas and Montana. By comparison, there was only one permitless carry state in 2000 — that being Vermont.
