Ok the sterling is even badder I WANT. What is a poor man looking at for something this sweet. Think you will take children as trade??? I can always make more of those. No making New Full Auto though so it might be a good trade on my end. Of course Wife might not agree but what does she know she is a women.

How do you like the Acog? Did you purchase anywhere local?

I love the mini ACOGS, the TA44 and TA45. Great eye relief and very good glass.

I bought it from a friend in Michigan, no where local really.

There's a TA45 (I believe) in the classifieds right now. The mini ACOGs are underrated

Hope to actually get out this week and shoot the can.

    Specs:
    Gemtech Halo
LMT Defender 2000 upper/lower in .223 Wylde with mid-length gas
Douglas Premium/CLE barrel 16", matched bolt

    Edit:
Cross post from my Halo thread-

I believe this is what "first shot pop" looks like - the first round through the can:

Here's what it looks like after about 20 rounds:

A quick and dirty (and not the best) HK clone family photo.

    re9S52jFXmSUlB7uZXUMn8EDvV3T-EFZK4xasHifKUs=w678-h553-no

    Top to bottom:

    • Century C93, HK 93 clone
    • Century C93 SBR, HK 53 clone
    • Coharie CA94 SBR, MP5 clone

Just got the stamp back on the HK53 SBR, so I could finally slap the stock on. I thought it was a good time for a group photo. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, I'll get the chance to run all three with a post sample sear (the C93s both came with full auto buffered bolts and I upgraded the Coharie with a US/German full auto bolt carrier).
