"The White House kept mum about Jones Friday, telling reporters only Jones would remain as part of Obama's administration."
Don't bang the gong too loudly, the big "O:poop:" is keeping him around for something.. Great deal, less spotlight and I would imagine the same pay grade.. He should have been thrown out on his ear and denounced as the racist that he is.

Racists, Communists, Terrorists, Tax Evaders...The Chosen One is only trying to keep his campaign promises of being an "inclusive" President. Maybe he's the most "inclusive" in many years, but I want no part of what he's including.

Oh come on now, we all know that criminal activity is higher in the middle of the night than it is in the middle of the day. :D

That got me to thinking. What else comes out only at night, sucks the blood of humans and is almost impossible to get rid of... Vampires... our country is now ruled by Vampires.

The Pulse Of The Maggots Lyrics
    Artist(Band):Slipknot

This is the year where hope fails you
The test subjects runs the experiments
And the bastard you know, is the hero you hate
But cohesing is possible if we try
Theres no reason, theres no lesson
No time like the present, I'm telling you right now
What have you got to lose, what have you got to lose
Except your soul... who's with us?!

    I fight for the unconventional
    My right, and its unconditional
I can only, be as real as I can
    The disadvantage is
    I never knew the plan
This isn't just the way to be a martyr
I can't, walk alone any longer
I fight, for the ones who can't fight
And if I lose, at least I tried

    We-we are the new diabolic
    We-we are the bitter bucolic
If I have to give my life you can have it
We-we are the pulse of the maggots

    I won't-be the inconsequential
    I won't-be the wasted potential
I can make it-as severe as I can
    Until you realize
    You'll never take a stand
    It isn't, just a one-sided version
We've dealt, with a manic subversion
I won't, let the truth be perverted
And I won't leave another victim deserted

    We-we are the new diabolic
    We-we are the bitter bucolic
If I have to give my life you can have it
We-we are the pulse of the maggots

    Do you understand? (yes)(x4)

Say it again say it again (we won't die) (x8)

We fight until no one can fight us
We live, and no one can stop us
We pull when we're pushed too far
    And the advantage is
    The bottom line is
We never, had to fight in the first place
We only, had to spit back at their face
We won't, walk alone any longer
What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger

    We-we are the new diabolic
    We-we are the bitter bucolic
If I have to give my life you can have it
We-we are the pulse of the maggots

    Do you understand (yes)(x4)

Say it again say it again (we won't die)(x4)

As it's been hinted with the "where's he going to show up at in the gravytrain next comment. I do wonder if there is any merit to this "change" or it's it's just a superficial statement. Will he be doing the same job but from another seat? I'm more than happy to see him gone, but I was kinda hoping he would be gone on charges of Treason myself, and the same for the rest of them, Papa Bama included. Big Papa has already socialized the Executive office with all the czars he has. In my opinion, that one person job is now a commitiee with him as chariman Mo...I mean just chairman.

Van Jones resignation is a victory of sorts BUT he should never have been appointed in the first place. I am very curious where he will turn up in this administration and if this will be covered in the media as well. A rising Obama Socialist Star such as Jones cannot afford to be wasted

Jones issued an apology on Thursday for his past statements. When asked the next day whether Obama still had confidence in him, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said only that Jones "continues to work in the administration."

Even if he's been stripped of his official "Green Jobs Czar" title he will still be advising Obama in the White House, paid for by our tax dollars. I don't feel this is much of a victory, just a ruse.

And now , on to Mark Lloyd.
Mark Lloyd, who was named the associate general counsel and chief diversity officer at the Federal Communications Commission last month, is under attack for authoring a June 2007 report entitled "The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio" and a subsequent essay, "Forget the Fairness Doctrine." Seton Motley, director of communications for the Media Research Center, said Lloyd instructed liberals to file complaints against conservative stations in "Forget the Fairness Doctrine."

Lloyd, who wrote the essay during his tenure at the * Center for American Progress *, said the rise and influence of Rush Limbaugh and other conservative radio hosts were traced to "relaxed ownership rules" and other pro-business regulation that destroyed localism.
Representatives from media watchdog groups Free Press and Media Matters declined to comment for this story. Officials at the Center for American Progress, the liberal think tank where Lloyd previously worked, also declined repeated requests for comment.
Words of wisdom from Mr. Lloyd :
“It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press,” he said. “This freedom is all too often an exaggeration. At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies.”
Really? Then there's this praise of Chavez taking radio away from those pesky "property owners".
"In Venezuela, with Chavez, really an incredible revolution — a democratic revolution — to begin to put in place saying that we're going to have impact on the people of Venezuela the property owners and the folks who were then controlling the media in Venezuela rebelled — work frankly with folks here in the U.S. government worked to oust him and came back and had another revolution. And Chavez then started to take the media very seriously in his country."
Chavez and his "incredible democratic revolution" ? And this guy is the diversity director at the FCC. Sounds like he's all for diversity, as long as it represents his type extreme left views.
    * Center for American Progress *
The Center has no information on its website about its funding, but the Washington Post reported that "seed money pledged by such deep-pocketed Democrats as financier George Soros (and mortgage billionaires Herbert and Marion Sandler)" assisted its formation.[8 The Center for American Progress is classified as a 501(c)(3) organization under U.S. Internal Revenue Code. The institute receives approximately $25 million per year in funding from a variety of sources, including individuals, foundations, and corporations. From 2003 to 2007, the center received about $15 million in grants from 58 foundations. Major individual donors include ,George Soros, Peter Lewis, Steve Bing, and Herb and Marion Sandler. The Center receives undisclosed sums from corporate donors. [20]
Some open government groups, such as the Sunlight Foundation and the Campaign Legal Center, criticize the Center's failure to disclose its contributors, particularly since it is so influential in appointments to the Obama administration]

Van Jones was also a Soros sponsored member of the Center for American Progress.
Soros helps fund just about everything to the extreme left. In an awesome SNL skit, the character portraying Soros was identified as "owner:Democratic Party". Herb and Marion Sandler were also slammed in this particular skit, for their role in developing the "option ARM", which played a big role in the mortgage meltdown. Of course they bailed early by selling ther bank to Wachovia, and netting $2.6 billion.Wachovia later tanked due to the toxic assets the Sandlers passed on to them.

Melensdad, I think that you have it wrong that Jones will still be around the WH. Look at the timing of that news report and his resignation - the resignation came AFTER that report came out.

That report was what made many people think that Jones was going to be fired, forced to resign or resign on his own.

My concern now is that Jones will be "out of sight - out of mind" as the spotlight won't be pointed his way any more and he will be somewhat free to move under the cover of darkness.

This is very good news. I try to be open minded but this was a slam dunk. Who the hell appointed him and thought ANYONE right of a bolshevik (?) would like him?

His idea of green jobs has a little red tint to them I'll bet

Pelosi will send out a press release saying that video was NOT her. It was an actor representing her, but not speaking for her because she thinks differently and she was at the store when it happened and you can't believe anything you see because she left for Mars the day before anyway, sooooo there!!!:n00b:

You may be onto something, the administration certainly does suck.

As far as pelosi and her ilk most of the power shift to one party came
about because a lot of votes went to bam and the other dem's rode
in on his coattails. They got a boost because of that - not next time however.

van jones has NOT left the administration. He in the same place just
not public about it. I wonder if there is some buyers remorse sinking in
with any bam voters yet...look who this guy surrounds himself with.

    Too soon??

I just realized what the title of NBC's story was:

"Obama Aide Van Jones Resigns After GOP Attacks."

What attacks?!!! Reporting news is considered an attack?
Yeah, tell me again how the media is not biased. Tell me how they don't try to sway the viewers.
Here's how it would have been worded if this were a Bush aide:

    "Madman Secretly Selected By Bush"
