It's been a while since I've read the book. I found it less weird than the movie, though TBH Starship Troopers isn't my favorite IP.The book handled it more realistically

I'm getting ready for my trip to Ohio.I am prepping the garage for painting.
A good book is one that can be read a number of times. I just reread the whole 7 books of Foundation series.
That doesn't sound fun at all.I am prepping the garage for painting.
Seems to be more work than I thought. Power wash the whole building, replace bad boards, tighten all the loose nails, reglaze windows, caulk up the cracks, paint the windows, paint the trim, tape off everything. Oh and then paint the garage. What was the question again??That doesn't sound fun at all.
And can't be done while waiting for beer deliveries.
Now that sounds more fun!!! Very cool!!!Gearing up for another outdoor movie night..

Starship Troopers was a good movie.Mixed bag on this issue, but I have to agree more on the side of Jedi here. Co-operations can work very well with well experienced and disciplined teams (like space missions and such), but any less and it will typically devolve into a high-school clique at some point. I've seen it occur in many professional settings, however not so much in the field. The military from a few decades ago could probably do it. I'm not sure about our military today. I believe that was one of the points that Starship Troopers made fun of.
