Neighbors lost some shingles (was getting repaired when I got home), a few gusts at the kid's soccer practice about toppled me, and a lot of folks will be cleaning up tomorrow. Trash day and high winds made a slight mess.

Lost power in Schererville for about two hours this afternoon. The light was out at 77th and 41. Traffic was backed up as far as the eye could see in both directions on 41. What a mess.

The wife's building has to be on the same grid. Each of you remark about the same thing power wise for the same amount of time. I'm always saying, "Yep, that's what (s)he said."

Hair cuts, appointment with the giant rodent at Bass Pro, then he's off to visit the family in the southern part of the state.

Those winds were something yesterday. Wife's garden knick knacks strewn all about and some overturned chairs on the patio but nothing damaged. I hope you all fared as well.

Everything OK here. I thought some of our cedar fence might come down since one post is already broken at the base, but it held together.

I need to find a local welding/repair shop that can do a small aluminum welding repair on a patio chair. I found that some decorative ornamentation got broken off when the winds tumbled the chair.

    Does anyone have a recommendation?
