Wife ruined it for me. She has been watching Hallmark Christmas movies 24/7 since June of this year and couldn't care if I never see another one ever.

Yeah, I'm late with that, it's been a bit busy here. People coming and going. I most enjoy the going part, unless it's my kids. Smoked a prime rib on Friday and a pork roast yesterday. Home alone for a few days. My wife and our oldest are driving to Phoenix.

Waiting to be seated at longhorn. Went to at least a dozen stores looking for large bows but only found small ones. We can just stick 2 or 3 on a package.

We had a $20 gift card and just wanted a light lunch. We challenged ourselves to both eat for as close as we could get to the $20. Mom had loaded potato soup and the strawberry pecan salad, I had 4-cheese bacon mac and cheese and the strawberry pecan salad. Plus there was bread on the table. Plenty to eat and it came in at $4.50 ish after the gift card, $10 including tip.

Rosati's makes a salad like that my wife enjoys.

We're definitely going back to Longhorn for this one. I'm not even a salad person, but it had strawberries, grapes, mandarin oranges, feta, and loads of pecans, served with a raspberry vinaigrette. That plus a bowl of soup is about $11-12 well-spent.
