No, the permits are not going away. You can still get them, and some will want one to travel to other states where they may be needed still.

No, the permit system will still be operated so that those who need a permit for reciprocity in other states can get one. Some states require you to have a permit/license from your home state in order to carry in their state.

I used purple because it might be soon that those are considered good prices.

Question....am I a selfish a-hole if I'm sitting here hoping that high gas prices put a dent in used truck prices, especially v8s, just as I am about to start looking for a V8 truck in earnest?

I like to think of it as looking for the pewter lining in the dark clouds.

I like to think of it as looking for the pewter lining in the dark clouds.

I am also thinking about picking up a truck here in the near future. I haven't because the prices are just too far out of reach to be honest. I forsee the prices dropping like they did before but not sure how long it will take.
