Took our foster son to the hospital in Crown Point yesterday morning.

He has bronchitis, they said he needed to be admitted.

Apparently they closed the Pediatric ward due to covid. I asked if I could take him to Community in Munster. They said no, they don't have a Pediatric ward open either. Asked about other options.

They said we had 3 options. Chicago, South Bend or Indianapolis. WTH???

So he is now at Laurie Children's Hospital for a couple days. For simple bronchitis. The doctor there said they don't treat it, they let it run its course. I'm not complaining but you'd think a local hospital could do that?

    :(
For some reason jedi is NOT getting new notifications from this thread or any others on INGO.

    2. What snow are ya talking about over the past 2 days? Jedi has had nothing but a dusting 2 days ago. ???

    3. #fakenews that more snow is coming. Ya r just making it up.

    4. Cold? Again where are you guys?
Yes it's cold outside but jedi is not feeling it inside the house nor is the furnance running none stop.

Makes jedi wonder if jedi is in some 4th dimension.
Notifications as in email or the alerts under the bell?

Tom has good advice. Especially if you can't differentiate the Bold text in the Watched Threads view.

Seriously? I've never heard of someone being put in the hospital for that. Why did you take him to the hospital in the first place?

He is a baby. Just 11 months old.

His breathing changed dramatically and he was having a hard time.

We got him before he was 3 months old and he weighed 6 pounds at that point because he was a premature baby born with cocaine in his system. He is just 18# now, so still small but growing.

"Indiana State Police advise motorists of a traffic slow down beginning at 1 pm on I-94 from the Michigan state line to Burns Harbor. Troopers will be slowing WB traffic in order for multiple INDOT plows to clear the roadway of snow. Motorists are advised to anticipate delays as all WB lanes will be affected."

    Melensdad.

I will keep your son in my thoughts.
It's disgusting that "Covid" creates such a problem.
My wife went to urgent care because she was sick and it was the weekend. They focused on Covid, did a test that took 5 days to get the results for and Strep. She finally went to our GP after the test results came back, and was diagnosed with an upper respiratory and ear infections. They gave her some antibiotics for her infection finally. She could have been feeling better by that time, if the urgent care Dr hadn't been so focused elsewhere.

A LOT of problems have been manifesting in the supply chain.
Lot of problems trying to fix million dollar machinery because we need a hundred dollar part, but "Covid" shut down the supply chain.

Be "funny" if power plants start shutting down cause of this.
