No boomers available ATM. We're all having the early bird special at Round the Clock.Hi elders.
Anything special happening?
We use one of those for the mailbox at our plant. It works well. Nice thing about it is you can locate it anywhere it fits and not have to worry about setting a post in the correct spot.Von Tobel's sells a concrete mailbox base. It weighs about 40 pounds and if it is knocked over all you have to do is lean it back up again
Wow, from Sunday storms??Got power back about 30 minutes ago.
Hope everyone else is doing OK.
I've had 7 outages in the last week. Longest from Monday 630 pm until about 6 pm today (Tuesday).Wow, from Sunday storms??

Nipsco actually pulled some new wires here in our sub-division, Woods Park off Cleveland.
It had been really good here until this last week. I believe part of the problem was the sub-contractor who was supposed to trim the trees. One in my neighbor's yard was marked to be trimmed and was never touched.Dang. I thought I got a lot of power interruptions
They are heavy. But they are pretty sturdy and will last a long timeOK, Von Tobel no longer carries the bases. But I did find an all-in-one mailbox, post, and base at the Gus Bock Ace in Winfield. It's a heavy sumbitch, but I think I can get a couple of neighbors to help me get it out of the car.
It is portable, but it has some heft to it. Local plow trucks knock it over. All it takes is a little muscle and it is ready to receive mail againWe use one of those for the mailbox at our plant. There is a reason I had an electric start generator for 17 years (with pull start back up) and there is a reason I switched to a full auto unit several years ago.I've had 7 outages in the last week. Longest from Monday 630 pm until about 6 pm today (Tuesday).

Lots of reasons we have a NG generator that will run everything: septic pump, sump pump, well pump, barn lights, AC/heat, freezers, etc. There is a reason I had an electric start generator for 17 years (with pull start back up) and there is a reason I switched to a full auto unit several years ago.
