yeah... been working and running... hahaha.... FB booted me again right after I posted a Happy Birthday on there to DarkKevin... Not sure what that was about... lol...

I'm not sure about trying cottage cheese in tomato soup though... Buyer beware I got some cottage cheese last week at Stracks that was marked good date but it tasted like sour cream and made me sick for 2 days...

Hmmm...skeptical, but that's not new. Is it better, lesser, or equal to milk?
It's in addition to. Make the soup as usual and then just put some cottage cheese in it. (A variation of putting regular cheese in it, which is actually better.)

Speaking of tomato soup, this is something we have made ever since I was a kid. It's a great quick comfort-food supper. Don't laugh at the name of it.

    Balls of Gold

    Tomato Soup
    Bisquick
    Milk
Cheddar or Colby Cheese cut into 1/2" cubes

Cook tomato soup as usual (1-2 cans, depending on how many people. 1 can serves about two people.)
Put some Bisquick in a bowl. I don't measure, but I'm guessing 3/4 cup per can of soup. Add enough milk to make a dough that is about the consistency of biscuit dough. Form the dough into dumplings about 1-1.5" in diameter and stuff a cheese cube in the middle of each one. Put dumplings into the pan of hot soup and cook until they are fluffy. Try not to stir too much so they don't break apart.

I think my mechanic finally stopped my oil leak with some small repairs...

I try to avoid Strack's whenever I can. I've gotten too much bad food from there in past that it's not worth the gamble. Their produce has been the biggest offender to me, but still, fool me twice...
