Well, the USPS employee almost cried a river about having to figure out a return label for me. The employee finished with a "it's almost impossible to do" speech. I just grabbed my box and said thanks.

Went to UPS and was in-and-out in less than five minutes.

What "machine parts" were you trying to return.
You mean to tell me the postman could not weight your box and slap a label on it via priority mail?

Off course it's you who is always the problem.
But give us the 4.1.1 on what you were doing?

"What" I was mailing doesn't matter at all and wasn't the issue. The person at the counter said it was "nearly impossible" to create a return label for me to put inside the yet-to-be-sealed box. They said I could mail it ... that's all.

(FYI, the company I am dealing with said that they are more than willing to repair my item for free. The only thing they ask is that I pay to ship it to them and that I include a return label in the box.)

UPS, on the other hand, entered both addresses, measured the box, weighed the box, printed two labels, stuck the return label in the box for me, sealed the box for me, labeled the box for me, and shipped it for me. No crying.

Ah so you wanted a pre-paid label to have something comenback to you. Off course USPS said no. They would have no way of knowing if the item coming back to use would be in the same box and the same weight.

Yes we all know it would but things could change and USPS is dumb like that.

So did you learn your lesson?

Yeah, I was just saying the same thing. Dreary and blustery. I need to get some longer socks. I usually wear the 'no-show' style, but I need something to keep my arthritic ankles warm.

I wear ankle high socks cause the work boots will tear the ankles up if I dont.

Because we are talking about da snob here.
He cant type the info into the website. That is beneath him. :p

    ...
On a serious note jedi suspects it's because he did not want to deal with his printer. His printer was giving him grief a few months back and he was about ready to beat it and get a new one. Dont think that happened and thus he may not have a way to print from home.

In other news the KFC/Long John's on Colorado street in Hobart across from Sam's Club was remolded and has added a buffet. Adults 8.99 and seniors 6.99 AYCE.
