Schererville getting new IHOP restaurant. I know it doesn't compare with Schoops, but still. I havn't been to an IHOP in ..... decades. Are they any good?

Nope. Hobart already has one next to Costco/Lowes across from the Mall
But that could be too FAAAAAAR for the thugs...

I got it in my head that I wanted to go to IHOP for my birthday breakfast in July. We were there two solid hours. An hour of it was waiting for the food to arrive. Food was OK and not horribly overpriced, but the wait took something away from the experience.

    ^This...
Jedi has been several IHops. The one in Hobart by the Coscto, one in Minneapolis, several in Floridia and one in southern IN by the KY border. In every single case it is an hour wait from the time they sit you to the time your food arrives even when the place is **NOT** busy! The food is just ok. The cost is ok for what you get. Jedi is not a pancake lover but their pancakes are better than ok. Plus they have 4 different syrups you can try: strawberry, original, nuts (jedi thinks) and cant recall the other one.

Jedi would LOVE to see a Waffle House in the area. NOW THAT IS SOME GOOD, GREASE, CHEAP FOOD FOR LATE NIGHT EATING.

Check out Sophia's or toast and jam for good breakfast food local

    Sophia is open limited hours.
    Same with T n J.
    F!!! THAT!!!

jedi has been to Sophia its meh! Overpriced breakfast.
Breakfast should be cheap and fast. It's your starter meal nothing fancy. Hell jedi can do it at home. Only reason to eat out for breakfast is to avoid the cleanup or if you have the munchies at 2am.

Corner Cafe in Griffith is where I like to go, limited hours.

Krispy Kreme was open 24 hours a day and Jedi didn't keep it open.
