    I agree with Jedi (again).

And its because ?we? don't teach history in schools and coddle our kids and create 'safe spaces' and tolerate so much crap that should be smacked down.

But what the hell do I know, I'm just a crabby old jerk in a Hawaiian shirt :fogey:

You say that as if "WE" have anything to do about it. They can teach the most vile things imaginable and "WE" can do nothing about it except home school or christian school.

Anyone go to the gun show at Crown Point fairgrounds today?
Went and was disappointed with some the prices there. Some at or above Cabelas prices. Needless to say thats already above average market price for NIB guns.
Most of the knives and knuckles were sourced from Global Tactical or MTech and had a hike on the price. So I guess if you had an immediate need for a knife or knuckles you would pay an extra $5 or so.
PMags were $12 each and 10 for $110 from most sellers. Fairly the same price online. Sometimes 10 for $100 on a deal.
"Custom" rifle builds were over priced. Some of the sellers had $400 in parts and selling for $750.
One seller had some good deals on ammo. May end up going back tomorrow for some. Passed today only because my direct deposit doesnt hit till midnight (weird right? I know)
No one wanting to do trades. Even with proper transfer paperwork. I decided to see what one seller may offer for my pistol (Sig P226 MK25) and the guy took one look and said $500. I shook my head and left his table.

What the actual Cufk? Do the sellers believe people don't know about Amazon or eBay? Or even Brownells or PSA? They do know the internet is on phones nowadays right?
Guess I remember when you could get some deals at a gun show and people weren't trying to juice you.
Picked up some Mec-Gar mags for my Luger, Walther, Makarov, & new Hi-Power. Most have been out of stock on the Mec-Gar website for quite a while. Prices were similar to the site. There were some deals to be had too, but I always consider list price the begin to barter price.

Holy **** those were some thunder claps last night. I left valpo at 12:30 with t tops off, cruised 65 all the way down and the entire time the west sky was one of the most electrifying lightning shows I've ever seen. Turned into my drive and boom rain hit, perfect time.

The thunder though Holy ****, my house shook several times, once so bad I think it broke a light bulb cause there was a loud electric type shock that you here when a bulb pops. Holy crap.

Both choices are smarter than leaving a kid in public school.

But you left out another option. Leaving your kid in public school AND becoming involved in the education of the child by reviewing coursework, reviewing the lesson plans, reviewing the homework. And, if you find objectionable lessons you SHOULD bring that up with not only the teacher but the administration.

My wife left a VP slot in Private Banking to become a teacher. I currently volunteer coach at a public high school. It is shocking who FEW parents are even involved with their kids, let alone their educations. Most just send their ignorant spawn off to be indoctrinated and don't give a damn.

Agreed. Very few parents actually give a damn what their kids are being taught.

Probably why we now have to pay a “Behavioral Intervention Specialist” to come into the classroom to “teach” kids to keep their hands to themselves, be quiet, and to listen to their teacher. No F’ing joke, we got a sheet sent home from this lady the other day about what she was teaching when she comes to the classroom once per week.

Actually the schools and letting the Government run the Educational System was the worst single thing anyone that is interested in "Citizens Rights" has ever done... That has produced the crap show we are seeing playing out in our streets today...

I accidentally bought another upper at the CP show with many smells this weekend... Liking the new caliber but I'm going to need a heavier buffer to run those 180 grain bullets out of her... 350 Legend is pretty cool...

Sooooo what else did I miss in here...

If you need fuel for your car, fill em up. Crude oil is up over $5 per barrel this morning. I foresee a significant jump at the pump this week
