Some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed

It's going to be one of those days/weekends.
I was watching the Raiders game last night, but being old went to bed about 1130 thinking the game was recording. I got up and went to watch the rest of the game..no recording:xmad:
No problem. Next task, print some stuff from the computer. Ha, should have known better. I keep getting a printer error. So I clear the spool, restart the computer, restart the printer, run diagnostics, everything checks out fine. Hit print and...printer error. I asked the wife to try printing from her laptop. It took forever, but worked. I'm thinking router issues, everything is connected ok so I do a speed test...1Mbps over the wireless, wtf? Plug my wifes' laptop into the router, 14Mbps. grrr, typical ISP provided crappy router. Sooo, an hour later I come to the conclusion that my old Netgear router just isn't going to play nice with the AT&T crap. On to the next mission while contemplating what to do about the printer issue.
I need an oil pump assembly for my chainsaw...yeah right, everyplace I checked is "backorder, no estimated ship date" even the poulan site tells me the same thing.
    :xmad::xmad::xmad::xmad:
And to top it all off Purdue tacked on $250 to my bill because I'm taking online classes.
Maybe I'll go back to bed.

So, I'm planning a road trip to Houston in November and according to the map, Illinois dont recognize our LTCH. Which I knew. But, I can carry in my vehicle and on private property...... Correct? So long as if I get out of my vehicle, I lock it up..... Right? All the other states going down there, I'm good.

Do you keep a food log for your headaches?

Chocolate, peanuts, cured meats, aged cheeses and a few other foods can trigger headaches for me. I used to go to a migraine headache specialist in Chicago and the very first thing he did was start me on a food log. Typically if you have food induced migraines, the foods you eat 4 to 24 hours prior to the start of the headache will be the foods that trigger your migraine.

For me, a Snickers bar (both chocolate + peanuts) can trigger a migraine pretty quickly. For the last decade or so I seem far more tolerant of cured meat (salami, sausages, etc) than I was when I was younger.

In some people citrus fruits like common oranges/orange juice cause headaches. Yeast products (pizza crust, bread, beer) are often triggers. Tomato can also be a trigger. So thick crust/rising crust pizza can be a major problem for many with migraines because it has yeast in the crust, tomatoes, aged cheese, and cured meat (sausage/pepperoni).

You may want to start a food log. Everything you eat, write it down + write the time. Write down the time a headache starts. Look back at the food log for trigger foods eaten approx 12 hours prior. Then eliminate that food from your diet for a week and see if that helps reduce headaches. You may have several trigger foods. It may take about a month or two to figure out your trigger foods.

If you can reduce headaches by eliminating foods then pick 1 of the trigger foods, eat it, and see if that triggers another headache. If it does you confirmed a trigger food. Now eliminate/dramatically reduce that food from your diet.

I was able to eliminate about 75% of my migraines by altering my diet. Over several years I reintroduced many of those foods back into my diet, slowly. Migraines tend to alter in frequency over long time periods and trigger foods may also change with time.

I do. I'd email it to you but its still on old papyrus scrolls.

Years ago I did the log to keep track of migraines. Most of my problem is right before storms, missing meals, and shifting sleep patterns.
I do have a problem with eating, if I'm starting a migraine, and then eat too much.

Yes, you have to lock your car when you get out.

    True, so true.

On a positive note, printers make great targets!

    A city in California?

It's from a song that I probably heard once or twice a very long time ago, it's always stuck in my head. Every time somebody says they left their wallet someplace, or I lost my wallet, it comes to mind.

I ran an ethernet cable to the router from my PC, now I feel like Dr. Frankenstein..."It's alive!" Slow as heck, but it prints.
