Good luck with the test today.
The blood test tech popped the needle in no problem.
And the ultrasound went good also.
My previous one (years ago, different problem) the tech seemed like she was trying to push the wand THROUGH me. She was complaining to another nurse about things, including how a boy was crying the whole time she was performing the test. Well, I could see that. I was a grown man, and I was almost ready to rip the probe out of her hand.

So, I got there early. No problems. And got out early.

In other news, I just received a robocall from CRST Home Solutions advising me of my April 25 delivery date. Even Mama Snap said "Wow, what a ****ed up mess." I've never heard her use that word in my life.

Kid will be at a buddy's. Wife will be a retirement party. I think I'm headed to Musashi tomorrow for dinner for some sushi. I don't get sushi often with pushback from the wife and kid. If you are interested in joining me as an impromptu M&E, I plan on 6pm. Never been there and after looking at the menu it seems to be American Sushi.

I don't think it's bad. I think his anal gland is infected. He took a scoot a few nights back. When I was walking him this evening his butt is raw and he went for another scoot.

SATURDAY LATE LUNCH ideas???

Dasha is taking the South Shore from Notre Dame to the East Chicago, IN station. I pick her up there and need to get her to O'Hare airport. We have time to stop for a nice, late lunch somewhere between East Chicago and O'Hare.

Any restaurant ideas from any of you on where we could go for good food that is reasonable close to that travel path? East Chicago, North Hammond, Whiting. Maybe skip local and go to Chinatown? Thoughts?

We'd be having lunch about 2:30pm so can't go to Keith's in Whiting because that opens at 5pm.

I'd just head to Chinatown. Probably the only thing I miss in Chicago.
