I just recently started buying their 7.62x39 ammo I have not used any yet. After seeing some videos on their ammunition I'm going to buy different calibers and try them out.

If you have any videos or personal experience with Norma ammunition post your thoughts and or targets.
I'm interested and wondering if this ammunition is consistent in other rifles and pistol.

I've been shooting their 9mm in 115gr and 124 gr for target practice. I haven't had any issues with it.

I was in the Greenwood RK a couple of days ago and they had some of their TAC-22 ammo but it was $89.99 for 500 rounds. I don't know if that's a normal price or not, but it seems really expensive to me!

Wow, quite a difference, but I wonder how much shipping would be for one box. If you bought 3 boxes it would be a much better deal than RK, that's for sure.

Slightly off-topic, but I've seen people here talking about RK having good ammo prices, but everything I looked at seemed really high to me. Maybe I've just been out of the loop too long. :):

Oh no doubt. I usually buy my ammo online, but I was down by RK anyhow, so I just decided to stop in and see what they had. I don't really need any ammo right now. In fact, I'm starting to reach a storage crisis situation. :):

I'm buying brass cased 7.62x39 ammo for reloading purposes. That's about all I'm buying if I catch it on sale.

Once fired 7.62x39 brass is going north of 32 cents each. Might as well buy brass case ammo for 50 cents each or less if you can find it.

RK isn't what it used to be in some cases. they sell this 223 ammo for $132.99

    https://normashooting.com/shop/caliber/rifle/223/223-rem-55-gr-norma-tactical-fmj-150-rounds/

$87 from norma. it was only $75 last year. rk also is trying to cell CCI blazer 22 for 18 cents/rd

They did have some 50 round boxes of Aguila .22 for 3.79, which I didn't think was too bad these days. I just wasn't familiar with the Norma TAC-22 so I didn't know if that price was reasonable or not. I know some of the Eley and other "premium" 22lr ammo is pretty pricey, but I didn't know if the Norma was.

I have been shooting 115 & 124 gr 9mm range ammo without any issues. Used some of their frangible 9mm on steel as well. 22LR supplies are good and have not tried theirs. I did buy some ‘match’ grade .45 HP on sale but have not tried it yet.

As for RK it has been very hit or miss for me. I don’t have one nearby so only check now and then when I pass by. Last summer I got some .45, 230 gr fmj Winchester 100 rnd white box for $0.50/rnd and Blazer brass 115 gr 9mm 100 rnd boxes for $0.35/ rnd but those were the only “decent” prices I have seen there.

I use quite a bit of their ammo and have never had a single issue. Burns pretty clean as well.

What I've used to date is:

    9mm 115gr and 124gr
    45acp 230gr
    556 62gr
    223 55gr
    308 147 and 150gr
    357 and 38special 158gr
    40gr 22lr

Buy directly from them.. Free shipping over $150 and they will usually have sales on certain ammo once a week along with 10% off coupon code in everything every 4-6 weeks.

So is their 308 147gr as accurate as in the top video?

The people doing those videos are probably better shots than I am, and probably more accurate equipment, but I have not had as good of luck with the Norma 308. I still like it though, the white tail 150gr is probably the most accurate non-match grade stuff that I have found. I got a 1.6" group out of my home built 308 AR with it. The 150gr tactical gave me 2.5" groups. The 180gr medium game gave me around 2.125" groups. I shoot sub moa with that gun using my reloads.

I've used their124 gr 9mm and it shoots fine. If you buy from them directly be aware of this shipping policy:

    SHIPPING
NormaShooting offers the option of both FedEx and UPS shipping carriers. All ammunition is required to ship via ground transit and is expected to arrive in 3 to 7 business days after your tracking number has been received. You can have confidence in ordering with NormaShooting.
Once your product is received by the shipping carrier, you will automatically assume all responsibility for its safe transit to your delivery address and thereafter. You also agree to hereby explicitly release Normashooting.com from all liability and responsibility thereafter.

I have ordered from there with no issue, but if there is an issue you are in your own.

Norma TAC-22 is very accurate in my CZ-452 and Winchester 9422 (sub moa @50yds) but will not cycle reliably in my Weatherby XXII auto. (no problem with CCI SV in the auto)

I haven't tried it in a 308 bolt action (don't own one) but in my ar10 I can consistently stay at 1.5-2" at 100 and 2-2 1/2" at 200. Good enough for target/plinking ammo for me.
