When you can combine this ruling with King v. Kentucky it certainly does give then the right to make crap up and enter at their own will, with no defence on your side.Read the opinion, it does not grant them the authority to come in whenever they feel like it, it does take away the power of the people to resist unlawful entry though.
And I'm not trying to convince you that it is a good thing, this was a very bad holding. Just stating that it is not as bad as you are trying to state.
