I could agree with this, but unfortunately that's not the reality of the world we live in Bucko. And genociding? Tell me youngster, which side has vowed to wipe the other side off the face of the earth? I'll give you a hint. It's not Israel.
Someone hasn't read his talmud, apparently. It's at 119k dead, but Iran's the genocidal side, lol.

Truth be told both these sides will wipe each other out if able to. Why are we taking sides? What has israel done for the US, ever?

that's the reality, my guy. There's no reason for the US to intervene on israels behalf. Benefits our people in no way.

You still haven't explained the Lavon affair, Pollard, or AIPAC. I was looking forward to the literary triple salchow.

The US hasn't won a war in 80 years, sad to see boomers still sword rattling to spend the blood of their children in sensless war against caricatures.

I guess the elderly just will not learn, fortunately as millenials begin to replace the boomers behind the controls of this nation, the senseless bloodlust at the behest of AIPAC is coming to a close.

    No more pointless foreign wars.
When your enemies are knocking at your door because they have witnessed decades of your weakness, don’t ask me to fight and die for you.

I don’t promote the death of our yuts. We are perfectly capable of eliminating enemies from the comfort of our home grown military bases. And if not eliminated at least degraded to the point they can’t retaliate. You lump me in with your misunderstood grasp of your elders. Maybe you had elders that gave you an inconsistent view of the rest of us. A few things I’ve come to realize about millennials, they ain’t smart enough to take my stuff and not tough enough to do it by force. They fear confrontation and the possibility of not surviving. I bet you believe a nice pork free meal with the muslim word would be all that is needed to bring peace. I see it from the view if they are breathing, they will continue to be a serious threat that needs eliminating. I’m not well educated in the Bible, but I understand enough of it to not only believe, but know where this world is headed. The only question is when. I also know that the 2 sides will be Christians and the rest. People need to come to terms with mortality and decide where they want to stand while living their life.

    Seconded.

@BoltThrower Understand that those that get overly excited/defensive of their position and get too heavily invested in being right no matter what, often run afoul of the rules and end up being escorted off the playground. At least temporarily at first.

You are welcome to have an opinion that is contrary to others. You are not however given carte blanche to be rude, disrespectful or abusive to others just because you dont see eye to eye on a topic.

I recognize that I'm wildly outside the average political perspective/30 years younger than the avg ingo user. If alternative opinions neccesitate a ban, by all means, curate the hugbox.

I'm not sure how I'm being rude, aside from highlighting the fact that the elderly are once again signing men my age up to die for a foreign country.

Legit not trying to be rude, odd how the 1 guy not calling for mass death is the villain here. have you guys ever met a persian?

Who signed you, or anybody up to die for anyone? I find your youthful snark insulting, only exceeded by your naive worldview.

Need more tarrifs, legit I won't buy clothes made in vietnam.

    America 1st
Off topic, but good luck with that. Take it from someone who still spends countless hours trying to find a toaster, an iron, a lawnmower, a car, clothes, etc. that are American made. Heck, good luck even trying to reduce your made in China footprint.

Legit I'm like 90% off china. The key is getting out of tge city and getting off junk food. The only thing I'm stuck with is electronics. I spent $800 on this phone 3 years ago.

If you can leverage the Amish, you're in good shape.

Yeah. I bought a Honda mower because the engine and transmission are made in North Carolina. I bought a Kia Stinger because, while it has no American content, nor does it have any Chinese.

I'm with you, fella, I've spent the last decade convincing buisness types that it's not worth shipping business to india and china.

When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.

The draft ended in 1973. Seems like this needs to be pointed out.

If you knew some of the regulars here, you'd know we are seasoned, but far from elderly.

If you came around more often, you'd know that no one here supports forever wars. While I'm not old enough to have met Sun Tzu, I do know he was correct when he wrote "No State has ever benefited from prolonged conflict."

Now back to the subject of the thread. The Houthi are a bunch of terrorist a-holes who are funded by Iran, and are shooting rockets and missiles at international shipping/non-combatants. Up-thread somewhere I used the phrase "smoking hole" to refer what needs to happen. We have the capability to identify from where the rockets/missiles are launched. We have (and have had for a very long time) a capability called time-critical targeting. Tomahawk cruise missile, GBU-31 from a B-2, 105mm from an AC-130 gunship, the results are the same. The terrorist a-holes figure it out after enough of them assume room temperature they stop doing the terrorist ****.

You will also note that you are not banned. If you're wondering about the reaction you received from the staff, take a look at your previous posts in this thread. Keep in mind that the non-verbal communication is missing on an online discussion forum. If needed I'll give my thoughts on group dynamics.

I may end up regretting this.
So you're saying you are about 30 years younger than the avg INgo user. Yet it shows you joined in 2014, what were you like 10-12 back then? You said "elderly are once again signing men my age up to die for a foreign country." How old are you kid?
You have b****'d about "Boomers" and their view of the world. Maybe you don't know but there's a reason you have two ears and one mouth. That's because you should listen twice as much as you speak. You're entitled to your opinions, but just because you're off base with your ass in the air doesn't mean people who have experienced this world with views differing yours are wrong.
Many of us here are of the America first mindset. But we also understand the world we live in revolves around a global economy not just American made or American owned businesses.
You also said "Legit not trying to be rude", well you may not be trying to be rude but you are just the same. Oh and just so you know, I'm not a Boomer, my parents were Boomers. You'll go further if you have some humility and listen to people who have more life experience. I tell my kids (probably your age), we're like the guy in the Farmer's Insurance commercials. We know a thing or two, because we've seen a thing or two.
Relax and don't take everything so personal
