Hello all,
First post so please be gentle. I am a recently unemployed Vet that is looking to get his company going.
To the point. I am looking to start producing AR15 lowers here in Indiana, still waiting for FFL to go through. What do The rest of you think about a new Company producing Lowers? What do you look for in a lower? Acceptable price range, improvements, gripes, or suggestions.
Thanks for taking the time to read.
That's awesomeThey should all look like this:
I have a friend, in LA, cranking out lowers and selling them as fast as he can make them. In many aspects a lower is a lower is a lower BUT his lowers are good and I get them for $120 each. I am talking to him about some semi-custom work for shotguns because I like the quality of his work.I disagree with part of this. All one has to do is look at Essential Arms to see that quality in craftsmanship being put out by a small, low-overhead operation at a reasonable (under $100) price is feasible AND profitable.
They should all look like this:
Sawyer MFG? Rest in peace...
As in, they're no longer in business, or the dude died? IIRC, Orion Arms bought a lot of their tooling & design templates.
