    They will have to make it with a lot less noise before the military could use it, and figure out how to get it to move along without someone having to use a computer to guide it. But it could have it's uses.

    As a test bed for new technology, it is rather impressive. I like how it could stabilize and right itself when kicked and slipping on ice. That is something animals can do quite easily, but is hard as hell to do with computers and mechanics. I could see the lessons and technology learned on big dog helping to create a robotic pack mule for soldiers or even a recon or assault (as said above, auto aiming guns would be sweet on those things).
