I got a blackhawk tactical stock and I painted the barrel on my 10/22. I'm currently away from it to get a picture but I'll get one up as soon as I can. Is there any product out on the market I could spray on my barrel I painted to protect it from little chips but escepecially from Hoppes?

Try duracoat. It's like paint, only different.

I has an absolute ball with the build on my 10/22.

I cut the stock off at the barrel band and refinished the stock
Floated the barrel, bought a bull barrel
    Bedded the receiver
    Got a VQ hammer
    Made a trigger stop
    Auto bolt release
Bolt face was machined, firing pin pinned, machine turned the bolt finish
    Extended mag release
    Fancy bolt handle
    32 power scope

    All the parts are drop-in.
But beware... My 10/22 was so accurate with Wolf MT, it was boring to shoot. Too heavy to lug around in the field at least for me, only good for the bench. In fact, it was so mechanically accurate, my wife and my son whom had never looked through a scope, were able to shoot it and poke the bullseye out without so much as a flier.

I disassembled it and sold the barrel, and re-did another 10/22 with some of the special parts.
