I am stoked for the both you! merry christmas!I am very much looking forward to Christmas morning with my son and will probably post pictures for everyone else to see.
... or would it be best to start him off in an actual indoor shooting range.
Any tips or suggestions are much appreciated.
ok, does it not bother anyone else here that there was not an after christmas report, in this thread?
If you're near Lafayette, the second Saturday of each month they host the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) "First-Shots" program at Applied Ballistics Systems Inc. (a site advertiser I might add).
They have a state of the art indoor range, and the First-Shots program is completely free of charge. New shooters will learn the basics of firearm safety, handling, and firing a .22.
Once again, it's totally free of charge.
Set him up a piece of steel and watch the smile-fest when he's dinging it at 75-100 yards.
Glad to hear every one is OK.I received a PM from her today and she said she was going to post something on Friday,
I sent her a PM after reading her OP and offered to send her a pair of hearing protector ear muffs that my son had out-grown to include with the 10/22, she got them the other day and I also was hoping to see a follow up post. I sent a PM yesterday and heard back today that she will try to post on Friday.
