Well here is the day I got it and what happend to it immediately.. This wasn't an ordinary saiga. It is a legion arms saiga that already had the front end converted so i wouldn't have to do it!
I've been asked to elaborate on what I started with as well as to state what parts i used. I purchased all my parts from www.carolinashooters.com. They are currently closed due to a high number of orders. I purchased their trigger guard and tig welded them when I welded the holes from the old trigger group. The new trigger is a KVar arsenal single hook trigger. I decided to keep the bolt hold open, so I had to get the correct spring to hold it in. vltor buffer tube, and ctr stock. Midwest industries optic mount, strike fire red dot. I'm forgetting some things... But you all get the idea
Finished the Conversion, This is it next to its Arsenal brother!
After the Cerakote and optic!
It was fun! Now its time to go shoot!
