Jan 14, 2009 #3 HICKMAN Grandmaster Jan 10, 2009 16,762 48 Lawrence Co. shoot, wet swab, dry swab, repeat did that for the first twenty shots at the range. While hunting, I'll shoot, dry swab and shoot, then clean completely by wet and dry swabbing when I get home. PLEASE, make sure you grease the breech plug!!

Jan 14, 2009 #4 O oldrookie Plinker Nov 21, 2008 41 6 No real break in required. I would swab the barrel to remove packing oils but thats about it. I would put at least 50 loads through it before messing with a scope.
