I rode this year! First timer. It was soooo much fun. I had the stash waxed and looked quite dapper...for me.I SO VERY MUCH WANT TO BE THERE!!!!
There's the "Gentlemen's Ride" with classic (style) bikes and lots of tweed and bow ties - MY PEOPLE!!!!
I often ride with a bow tie poking out from my waxed cotton jacket.
Shame Jeremiah's has closed, great steaks and frog legs.Headed out tomorrow for a four day two lane ride south into Ky, along the river crossing into Ohio, then back into twisty curvy two lanes across central Kentucky all the way to Paducah before heading home Sunday evening.
I haven't hardly put any miles on this year...
Feel your pain. It was a sad day indeed when I had to give up the ride and watch my last bike leave the driveway with its new owner. Two wheeling was my life for many a decade prior to that as well.My last bike sold about 10 days ago.
My arthritis in my left wrist made it too painful and too dangerous to ride.
Maybe a Can Am in the future? Unsure. But I'm RELUCTANTLY out. Surgeons may be able to fix me, but I don't think so.
