What fuel economy does the pickup and trailer following you get?Was unexpectedly "volunteered" by the better half today.
Protested with "I don't want to spend two hours driving to do that" to which she responded with "It's sunny and high 70s.... no tools or other cargo required....Why wouldn't you ride the motorcycle?"
So I ended up winning the trifecta....helped some folks, brought happiness to the better half, and got a couple hundred miles on some back roads riding an Indian...all topped off with a whiskey and cigar.
Classify this as a good day.

As I told my sons when they were little, I don't believe you.Had no need for such things.
The Indian was trailered once....when I drove over to Ohio to pick it up from the guy selling it.

The Triumph should be roadworthy in the spring, the 53 will be next.I want to see that old panhead you picked up running down the road.

We are still discussing on which direction to go with it. It will be a fun project.
They have there quirks, I'm really a Shovelhead guy.Just my opinion...as ill informed as it may be, the old panheads are the classic HD bikes.

Yep, a few more years and at least one will be around more often. One will be here in a few weeks for a month or so provided things don't get any stupider in the middle east.Either way, projects with sons are damn fine projects.
We will see if we can meet in Tipton for a meal, and you can meet him.Either way, projects with sons are damn fine projects.

Possibly a quick shifter. Looks like the guy on the left was messing with the controls before the other guy nailed his throttle.I still don't understand how that happened...

That's only a guess though.
