Need a winter project to upgrade you bike?

Read this. Then install WIDE ANGLE lights on your bike that create a triangle pattern with your headlamp. You can slow down so you don't outride your headlights but you need other vehicles to see you. 3 lights, in the shape of a triangle, might be your best bet. I have Denali wide beam DRL on my bikes.

Got in about a 30min. ride on the Ninja with my new helmet. The wife surprised me with it for Christmas. I love it so far, light carbon fiber shell, drop down sun visor. As a side note, delete your Amazon search history. It just happened to work out for me this time.

    Yikes!

Is that wounds or hand surgery?

Just kidding. I had hand surgery Friday. The doc said my middle finger and thumb suffered from trigger finger. I was getting horrible cramping while riding. My finger and thumb would just lock sometimes. It freaking hurt too. I figured now is the time to have them repaired. Next is my carpal tunnel. The doctor would like to do that soon. I have been putting off a lower back revision to a revision surgery too. If I'm lucky, I get killed soon. If not, just more agony.

    Feel better, my friend.

Had the same problem on both ring fingers. Luckily, a steroid shot did the trick for me. Jim.

Cord free additional brake lighting that attaches to your helmet.

    Brake Free Helmet Light

I know, I know, it's fugly as hell !! But I think a big part of that comes from it being an add-on part. If a company could build it into their helmet and make it more flush to the surface, I think it would be a pretty cool option....if the price increase wasn't too ouchy.

I agree. I have Clearwater Darlas mounted low on my bike with amber covers. I think the amber lights are more noticeable as well.
