Thats not what DrMidnights looking for. A Soft tail is a underpowdered cruiser.Meh, to each their own. I like it. It's cool at any speed and fun to ride. I ride on the public roads, not the racetrack.

"People aughta do what they wanna do." If you want to powder your cruiser down under, have at it.Thats not what DrMidnights looking for. A Soft tail is a underpowdered cruiser.
Saw a PA parked over at the Filling Station across from St Vincent last week.If I had the $cratch, I'd buy a Pan American or the ne Sportster that comes w/ cruise, large screen & liquid cooling.
My wife says the only thing I "need" is a hole for coconut. I tell her I have been trying for years to be able to collect on my insurance death policy. Not funny she says but I have dark humor...or is it dork humor? I forget.Saw a PA parked over at the Filling Station across from St Vincent last week.
Had to take a double look at it, they are pretty neat.
I still think a GS is in my future, I can't get it out of my head that I "need" one.
Gs 650 bmw. Light enough to pick up, comfortable enough to ride all day. Capable on and off road. Fairly affordable used. Huge aftermarket.I'm looking for a little input here, guys. I'm really wanting a second bike by next year's riding season, but I'm still not sure which way to go.
I currently have an Ultra Limited, so I really want something different. I'd like a bike that's light, nimble, and something reasonably quick. Adventure bikes have caught my eye recently. Do current owners think that type of bike might scracth my itch? My limited has the twin-cam engine in it, so would a mid-sized adventure bike be underpowered, or would I need to go full size? I'll throw in that my off road use will be very minimal. It may see the occasional dirt or gravel road, but it would be mainly pavement.
Before someone makes the suggestion, I'm much too old and fat for a sport bike. I like to go reasonably long distances, so that type of riding position is a definite no.
I loved the GSA I had and two days after selling it I was wishing I hadn't.Saw a PA parked over at the Filling Station across from St Vincent last week.

What is winterize ?Looking at the forecast it looks like after Thursday going to winterize.
For me, I always run ethanol free year round in my motorcycles. I will add one of the fuel storage additives. If one is gonna sit more than one season I fog the engine like an outboard engine. I also change the fluids before I put them up for the winter and plug them into a smart charger. What is winterize ?
I just plug in the tender, cause you never know when it might be a decent day and the roads are dry.
I believe India has pretty good fuels, leave a tank of 87 ethanol gas in the sun all summer. My bike was made in India - I don't think anything I put in the tank or on it can compare to what would happen to it there.
2020 Interceptor 650, so FI.I believe India has pretty good fuels, leave a tank of 87 ethanol gas in the sun all summer.
Endfield? Carb or FI?
Is it rated for ethanol?2020 Interceptor 650, so FI.
It's happy with what's at the pump (87) and I'm not going to seek out 100% gasoline. Is it rated for ethanol?
Its a good looking motorcycle. It's happy with what's at the pump (87) and I'm not going to seek out 100% gasoline.
Yeah, it runs like a kitten, and a few thousands $ less than a Triumph. RE sniped a bunch of Triumph engineers to start a new design center in the UK, and it really shows with this bike. It's not fast, but it's cool; I still get a lot of people talking about it.Its a good looking motorcycle.
They remind me of the retro Triumphs.
