Be Careful Dave, Mosin-Nagants are like potato chips, you can't have just one.
I think they breed while in the dark of the gun cabinet.

I still need to find a 91/59.

91/30 is fun at the range and ammo is plentiful and cheap...get it and enjoy.

Buy it and never look back!!! You will be glad ten years from now, and they are a blast to shoot. Accurate, high-power, and a piece of history. The low price is just a bonus.

I've got a 91 with the hex receiver and NO import marks!

I recently picked up a 91/30 ex sniper, but the scope holes have been "filled" and reground (not very good I might say).

From the inside of the breech you can still see threads. Im half tempted to try and extract the "plugs" and put the scope mount back on.

A carbine that shoots a catridge with ballistics similar to the 30-06..... yep.... that'll kick a bit!!!

I've got a 91/30 so it's not as bad.

I'm tempted to get a M44 while they're still available at a pretty reasonable price.

I can't believe some of the ill remarks towards the 91/30.

Nagants are not only a piece of history, but a blast to shoot.

Stock up on ammo now, it ain't getting any cheaper...I'm glad I stocked up when it was a 1/4 the price it is now.

Mosin's are a blast to shoot.

If you get the carbine it packs a whallop and has one helluva fireball!

This is just my opinion, but if I were you and it were my first Mosin, I'd spend 10 more bucks and get the M44...I think they're more fun.

Atterbury does. They don't even check for steel core (which A LOT of 7.62x54R round are)

For $70.00 buy it. The only problem with a Mosin is that they reproduce. I bought my 1st one about a year ago and I now have 10.
