I just got a new to me Mosin and was wondering what is a decent price for ammo for it? Gander Mountain has spam cans for 130. Is that a decent deal? If not, any other suggestions?

Before all the hype and hoarding started you could pick up a 440 round spam can of x54R for under $100 any day of the week.
The cans I bought just 2 years earlier cost me but $60 each!

Now, it is north of $100 EVERYWHERE, if you can find it.

Be sure to factor in shipping.

A case (880) plus shipping should be just over $200. One spam can should be about $89 w/o shipping, $100 with. GM is a bit pricey as usual...

i was at gander this morning and i saw the cans they had. Couldn't tell where it was from. (looked hungarian made to me). But they had 1975-85. I got a can of 75 hungarian made off of armslist for 60 back in the spring so i jumped all over that deal. And SGAmmo is about to have some more of my money. You get a slight discount for 2 or more.
