    i guess that's a stupid question?

    No, but there's another recent thread in which I grouse about the wait times on the ST lowers.

    I've got several of the "Punisher," "Zombie" and "Calico Jack" lowers on the way (DarkRose is waiting on one), but they probably won't arrive for several more weeks. Of course, ST also told me the rifles would show up after the lowers and they're already en route, so... :dunno:

    "Midlength" refers to the length of the gas system. It goes pistol-length, carbine-length, mid-length, and then rifle-length.

    Middys are the new hotness, and shooters often report softer recoil, less mechanical wear on parts, a longer sight radius, and more "rail-estate" to mount lights and such.
