Since the actual statistics prove, beyond ANY doubt that 'good guys with guns DO stop bad guys with guns', I'm gonna go with #2.

i guess shes never heard of police, our troops or,people like us that dont let others walk over us or hurt us. i would think that 99% of the time most defensive guns use aren't reported because the no shots were fired. most thugs are cowards and dont want to fight just showing that your willing to fight is enough to scare most thugs away at least i think. anyways im sure the use of firearms in self defense happens much more then reported.
