We have work down South of New Orleans, the guy running the job down there used to send tons of beads back up here with his paperwork a couple times a month...they are scattered around in everyone's offices now

I was in the grocery store the other day and saw the Paczki boxes. Then when I went to select a delicious flavor...they were all prune.

My first "near death" experience.

I volunteer with the auxiliary at a local hospital, and one year (before I was a member) the auxiliary president thought it would be fun if they bought a bunch of mardi gras beads and handed them out to the auxiliary ladies to wear. Imagine dozens of 70+ year old ladies wearing mardi gras beads and having no idea what they meant.

Back in the day, it used to mean you went to a parade and caught them being tossed from a float.

Paczkis do not come from a grocery store, they come from a bakery. That's like saying bacon comes from turkeys.

Wife picked up 2 dozen from Dainty Maid in South Bend...



She only made it home with 10. She claims she dropped the rest off at friends and family. I think she's holding out on me.
