Anyone have a link to get the Florida permit?
I did the Florida permit because Florida isn't specific about what kind of training class you have. I took an NRA class 5 years ago and it counted, or military/veteran status also counts I believe. Utah required you to take their specific class or a class that met their requirements. Florida does cost more, but it was easy and convenient to get without needing to find and take yet another class on how to aim a gun.
There was a thread on here some time ago that had a link to a training class you could take online that was good for the Florida license. I've searched but can't find it. Anyone know where that may be?

I got the Florida because my DD214 served as proof of training.
I went with the Utah Permit. Cheaper
- Alabama
- Alaska
- Arizona
- Arkansas
- Colorado (recognizes Indiana license, NOT the Utah non-resident permit)
- Delaware
- Florida (recognizes Indiana license, NOT the Utah non-resident permit)
- Georgia
- Idaho
- Indiana (Indiana residents MUST possess a Indiana handgun license!)
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Michigan (recognizes Indiana license, NOT the Utah non-resident permit)
- Minnesota
- Mississippi
- Missouri
- Montana
- Nebraska
- New Hampshire (recognizes Indiana license, NOT the Utah non-resident permit)
- North Carolina
- North Dakota
- Ohio
- Oklahoma
- Pennsylvania
- South Dakota
- Tennessee
- Texas
- Utah (recognizes Indiana license AND the Utah non-resident permit)
- Vermont
- Virgina
- West Virginia
- Wyoming
- Washington State
So Utah and Florida, you can get a permit without being a resident of that state?
