The other day I told someone I was a Rochester Quadrajet in a direct fuel-injection world. Then I had to explain a carburetor to someone who started driving a couple years before my oldest son started driving. Then I had to explain how an internal combustion engine works.
OK I think there's a point here... oh yeah! This is a discussion forum. I'll take the Mark-I Eyeball of a Mod over over an algorithm (which is a fancy word for a fancy equation) any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Are you trying to get us fired? Automating the mod work will cost jobs man!
I have thoroughly reviewed myself and have found no wrongdoing. Ever. Though I'll admit some were TL;DR. Okay, maybe more than some. But I'm sure they were harmless.Self moderation? That would probably create more jobs than it would eliminate.
Similar to this one?I have thoroughly reviewed myself and have found no wrongdoing. Ever. Though I'll admit some were TL;DR. Okay, maybe more than some. But I'm sure they were harmless.
The robots are coming.Hey, someone has to push the buttons. Someone has to train algor and the rithms. Someone has to test the systems. See, as technology grows the workers just retrain and make more money taking care of the technology. I'm helping you guys out. You should be getting a pay increase. Like 20%. So what's 0 times 20%? See. You're welcome.
Please sir.No thank you, have a nice day!
Nah, the Mark-I's are all obselete. Can't even get parts for them anymore, and the retina's tend to detach. The Mark IV-1C is still a classic, parts are still available, plus they had corrected the retina issue. I recommend you upgrade.Too many funny posts to quote right there

I thought the protocol was to hand it to a FNG and say, "bring it back spotless"...Were you sure to clean the mess off it?
You have my attention.Hey, someone has to push the buttons. Someone has to train algor and the rithms. Someone has to test the systems. Oh come on. How was that TL;DR? Here's how you can tell. If you gather up all the words loosely in a plastic walmart bag, and none spill over onto the floor, it's NOT TL;DR.Similar to this one?
No one's saying that they both can't buy lunch. But they were brought in together like twins. Which one was born first?
Say when.New guy usually buys lunch.
GFGT?
There's a military expression from the past.Mark-I Eyeball
Sometimes upgrades are no choice. Like when your laptop software is 10 years older than the PLC software.Nah, the Mark-I's are all obselete.
