And Pat hosted Jeopardy on the same day. Worst Jeopardy ever, they only uncovered about half of the clues.

And Vanna was on the Price is Right. She was the first contestant picked and never got a price right.

I don't believe she was cast in her role on the show for her brains

Well, she worked a job that was atmospherically controlled, and clean, not a lot of physical labor (unless you count exercise to stay in shape).
And she worked there much longer than most women in that job.
So, she's smarter than I am.

Its was delicious had 2 bowls. She even smashed the beans a bit to make the soup thicker.

THIS, IMO, is the reason God made cannelli beans... to make the soup thicker for the real beans.

I will be looking into this.

Ditto on the Hurst's 15 bean... I always keep a couple bags because they get scarce this time of year... and definitely soak overnight with a rinse and water change in the morning while your ham bone is simmering to make ham stock.

As long as you don't get the beans above the frank, you should be okay.

My step dad used to have a ham and beans kegger a couple times a year when I was a kid. We had a cast iron pot that was probably 20 gallons and a tripod with a winch he would build a fire under and cook them all day long. I like them now more than I did back then but most of my kids are not yet fans.
