The only thing in a gyro that should be hot though is the meat. Maybe warm pita. But there aren't usually cucumbers in a gyro.

OK - that's ridiculous.

Just because you put stuff on a round piece of bread doesn't make it pizza. Just like putting various cloying syrups and bright alcohols into a martini glass doesn't make it a martini.
