Pretty standard. I think it only happens on days that end in y though. So not that often.

I make my own patties 6oz.

Same here... normally chuck/sirloin in the 5-8 oz range, depending upon how hungry I am...

But, one of the few flaws my wife has is requesting "how 'bout quick cheeseburgers tonight" literally the day I don't have any fresh ground anything worthy of a burger.

Hence... "emergency", lol!

I have a burger press, so when I buy a 10# tube of 80-83% lean I make up 26 and freeze them 2 to a pack.
