Are there any 500+ yard ranges near Greenwood, IN? I am considering buying a Ruger Precision and learning the basics of long range shooting. Are there any local classes that teach this for beginners?
I echo the same two questions. I am assembling a gun for bench shooting and Colorado prairie dogs and would like to be able to shoot out to 500 yards. I have been told there is a range somewhere in the Ft Wayne area and, of course, there is Atterbury if I’m not mistaken. Both are quite a driving distance from the Inday area.
Any place to shoot 500+ yards in central Indiana ?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks
Is the Atterbury Ranger Complex still in operation? I notice the phone number listed on their web site is out of service and I don't want to drive down there for nothing.

I really like Atterbury. A lot of people complain and do not like the really strick, structured environment but I do. Once you get the rules (they really are simple) you see that it's a very safety concious. I'm guessing that is a major contributing factor of there never being accidental shooting or accidental discharge during target changes/marking etc. They also have one of the best selections of primers, powders and such. The Atterbury Shooting Complex is definitely still in operation.
This number just worked for me.
