Ive pondered a 35 Rem or a 35 Whelen with I have 6-800? Nosler partitions and Hornady bullets that came in a deal a few years ago and they are just sitting on the shelf. But they are all pointed so it will have to be either a bolt or maybe a Browning BLR.
Yeah, that would be an issue.
If I want to use pointy bullets I go for the Leverevolution.
At my hunting ranges their performance was admirable.

What do you have that no one else has?
I have had a Siamese Mauser built into a bolt action 500 Smith and Wesson Mag
I have had a Ruger No 1 in 458 win mag rebored and chambered to 500 Jeffery
I have had a model 70 in 300 WSM rebored and chambered into 358 WSM
I have had a Howa mini action rebored and chambered in 6.8 SPC.

That's all i can think of right now. I have 2 other cartridges currently at a smith being barreled in oddball calibers

The browning BLR are pricey and something about the looks doesnt do it for me. I may be weird but I fall for guns and cartridges sometimes based on looks lol.

Yes i reform the 358 WSM from 300 WSM brass. 7 I can use but necks split more often going straight to 358.
