Are there any laws that would prevent me from shooting my pellet gun in my backyard? Not shooting into the air, but against a backstop or dirt.
I've been known to shoot from the house. My gun room has a door that opens to the back yard. I prop the door open, stand or sit inside, and shoot from the gun room into a pellet trap in the yard.

This section shall not apply to any legally appointed officer in the discharge of his duty.
