KWG gun store?

Anyone here heard anything about the new gun store in Owensboro, KWG? Supposedly the son of the original owner of Whittaker Guns.

I was over in O-boro a couple weeks ago. Had a little time to kill so ran past where the new shop is going to be. Still under construction, from what it looked like it will probably be after the first of the year before they open. Looks like a decent sized building, not quite as big as the old Whittaker Guns building.

Oh, and as I was heading out Parrish Ave. saw the Air Force F-35 demo team leaving the airport.

Party correct, Chris Whittaker (Darrel’s son) is part owner along with Luke Kuegel (a farmer I think)…if Chris follows Darrel’s lead KWG will fill the void left when the person who bought Whittaker’s ran the shop into the ground!

FYI Chris was fired a few months before Whitakers closed, this new shop has nothing to do with Whittaker’s sadly I hear people had guns in layaway when the shop closed and their money and guns are long gone

I hadn’t been to Whittakers in a few years. I was greatly disappointed in what it had become. It wasn’t worth going back. Hope the new store is like the original, would be worth going to if it were.
